2009 - Nissan Murano unveiled at LA Auto Show
The 2009 Nissan Murano has been officially unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The profile is very much the same as the current Murano model, but the rear benefits from new LED tail-lights and there is an optional panoramic roof, along with a power upgrade for the standard V6 a performance car.
2009 - Lincoln MKS unveiled at LA Auto Show
This is the 2009 Lincoln MKS, Ford’s attempt at rejuvenating the dying Lincoln brand, unveiled at the 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show currently running this November. It is a full-size luxury performance car based on the Ford Five Hundred platform, which itself is a derivation of the Volvo S80 platform. In other words, it is a front-wheel-drive barge competing in a world of rear-driven luxo-powerhouses.
Brabus-tuned Maybach is fastest large sedan ever
A world-record speed of 205.2 mph was set on the high-speed test track in Nardo on this performance car, Italy with a Maybach 57 powered by a 720 hp Brabus-tuned SV12 S Biturbo engine, making it the world’s fastest ultra-luxury large sedan.
Rear-driven 2009 Hyundai Coupe exposed
The current FWD Hyundai Coupe tries hard to look like a Ferrari performance car, but pales in performance compared to rivals. This 2009 coupe aims to change that. It will most probably feature a new name, but the bigger deal is the new rear-wheel-drive chassis, the option of a turbo-4 or a bigger V6, and looks that thrill.
Maybach 62 Landaulet for Dubai show
The Middle East International Motor Show in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, will host the world premiere of a Maybach model performance car not shown anywhere else. Announced earlier by Mercedes-Benz as a mystery Maybach concept performance car, some British rag leaked that the unknown car is indeed a four-door convertible called the Maybach 62 Landaulet.
2008 Nissan GT-R shows its new face
This is supposed to act as a flagship to the Nissan high performance car. To show that… they can build a 911 Turbo fighter for a fraction of the cost. Not just some other STI or EVO’esque concoction most of a higher end performance car than an econobox with a wing and a turbo.
